homegrown snow

I know snow has been pretty scarce this season. Local PA homies Kevin and Keith Korchok decided to take the approach of the road less traveled this season. This DIY snow maker set up is craftsmanship at it's finest. Enjoy.

SNOW

There is Snow in the Mountains in Utah and several other places through out the west, including Tahoe! This means that we are, well, kicking the season off right! Its only the first week of October! Get out your rock boards and hike yourself up in those mountains to get your preseason shred on. Here are some pics for you personal Enjoyment!

SnowShoe Ski Reasort, WV

Looks like the East Coast is off to a solid start for this winter. It is Oct. 3, 2011 and they have received 9 inches of snow! Thats very crazy and random for the east, especially in West Virginia. Let's hope the Mountain's out here in Utah start producing so we can get out and do some boarding.

Here is some of the weather for the next couple of days. Brighton is calling for 12-18 inches on monday and Powder Mtn is calling for 9-13 inches by monday!! check the pics for the forecast!!

Winter is Underway!

Here is the forecast for sunday night up at powder mtn. Its gonna be a beauty !! Who's shredding on monday!! I am! yea yea!!

Sunday Night: Rain and snow, becoming all snow after midnight. Low around 25. Windy, with a southwest wind 29 to 33 mph becoming northwest. Winds could gust as high as 47 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 11 to 17 inches possible.
