I've been a long time fan of the Transworld Skateboarding full length video installments and I don't think I've ever been more psyched to see one of their films than this. Congrats to Evan for winning at life right now!

where i'm from

Was having a conversation about the old pitcrew video "Where I'm From" the other day and I had to look it up. The conversation touched base on how, long before Chris Haslam skated to "Losing My Favorite Game," Zack Lyons did it first, and better in my opinion. Head Board Shop comes to Johnstown

This past weekend, the crew from Head Board in Pittsburgh (AKA Nuge Crew) made a trip out to our little old Johnstown, PA for some shred action. Needless to say, friendships were made, fires were built, shredding ensued, and good times were had by all in attendance. Sessions like these ones are the best! Now enough chit chat, and on with some photos!

Why not start off with a banger!? Rullo & Radko were straight killin' it with these dual frontside airs. Sequence and alternate angle of this shot can be found below.

And I though I'd round out this post with a true banger. Radko hittin' this 360 flip crooked grind! It doesn't get more laced than this!

All Good Things...

...Come to an end. It's a saying that everyone has heard at least once in their life. In this case, the good thing is our friend Sean Rudnik. Sean and his girlfriend Ashley both decided to make the move out the the West Coast (Tahoe to be exact) for school. They're both living their dreams! Last night was Sean's last night in town and we sent him off with the best of a bang that we could by having a massive fire and a good old warehouse session. Sean, I've known you all my life. You're a very talented skateboarder, snowboarder, and more importantly than either of those, a good friend. It really is sad to see you leave the East Coast, but when life calls you to bigger and better things, nothing and no one should hold you back. Wishing you the best of luck with everything you and Ash decide to do in life man, and remember, you've ALWAYS got your homies back here on the East Coast!

Love ya Sean! Best of luck again man!

Andrew Sutter is a killer Photographer and has a bright future! This year he was able to go to Warped Tour and have that Photo Pass to go take all them rad pics of the bands! On top of that he takes bomb pics of skating and snowboarding as well as many other things! And he also helps run this here blog we call WhatCoast!! So with out him having to hype himself up, I decided to so he wouldn't have to be modest!

Prize Fighter Cutlery

PFC put out a good video that captures the best part of skateboarding, fun. Although its filmed in HD (vx would be just as good), this video is still great. No absurd amounts of slow-mo's, tech ledge dancing/carcass tosses, or heinous music, just skateboarding at its funnest. Make sure to check out all four parts!
