Keep The Change--Not for Kooks
So Keep the Change dropped last week, and what followed was an extremely positive response from the core side of things (Yobeat, blogs, facebook, etc).
On TWSnow however, the response was different.
Kooks from all over the nation were talking shit on the video and bringing us to question their level of skill and knowledge of snowboarding.
Calling out the some of the best up and comers in the industry takes a serious level of ego or kook, I think most of these comments are coming from the kook side of things.
Ok, Bob. I don't think anybody agrees with you.
At least a few people knew what's up
Go check out the art of flight. sounds like more of your steeze
While I agree that Paxson and Biittner have some of the best style in snowboarding, the guys from KTC are doing some of the hardest tech rail tricks in the game, and they're doing them switch. Johnnie and Aaron are both at a point in their career where they're focusing more on backcountry anyway, leaving room for these guys to make their way up the snowboarding ladder.
The Transworld Snow Online Editor who POSTED THE VIDEO even made an appearance to drop some knowledge.
Luke also mentioned Phil Jacques, who has strikingly similar style to a bunch of these dudes..
Finally, legendary Jerm summed it all up.
And here's a snippet of the POSITIVE response coming from Yobeat.

Official
It's official. We're halfway closer to becoming a legitimate website.
www.Whatcoast.com is now live
In other news, Ryan Paul's full part just came out (about 11 minutes ago) and you don't wanna be the only kook who didn't see it.
Our own Tristan Sadler is now a teammate of Ryan's as well, so go out and buy a new Zion snowboard while your wasting time on the internet.

Seasons
It's that time of the year. Leaves are changing colors, the days are getting shorter, and the cold is setting in. This is obviously excellent news for all of the snowboard enthusiasts(myself included), especially over here on the east coast where our season is limited to a few a good months. However, for all of us board freaks who prefer wheels over edges, this also means big changes on their way. Yup, seasons are inevitable to us north east coast cats. So in honor of the seasons, whether they support our lifestyle or not, here's a video from Seasons Skateshop in Albany, NY. These guys know all about what the upcoming winter entails. Cheers to all you die hards living in windy cities with no indoor parks. Shred on

Plus some fellow campers Ian Compton and Scott Moline.

Tuckin' That Knee
I haven't been really up on the times with posting on here at all. This weekend coming up though looks as if it's going to be filled with a decent amount of skating back here on the Dirty East Coast. Enjoy the snow out West boys! We'll be getting our fair share here sooner than later! Here's a shot of Rullo from a small warehouse session had with some good buds a few nights ago!
Ender.
Just watch it.

Corey Schneider
I didn't meet Corey until this summer, but he's quickly become one of my favorite dudes to watch; not to mention ride and hang out with. Corey is the man, and you can tell he's having fun because he's LITERALLY SMILING WHILE HE RIDES. And that is awesome. You'll be seeing a lot more from Corey this year...
October 6th-8th
Unless you've been either in prison, or living in a basement with no windows playing call of duty with your bros... you've probably heard or hopefully noticed that there is snow on the ground and people are hyped on it.
We've been out a few times now and it's great to be back. Here are a couple of different crews getting at it over the past few days.

Looks like the East Coast is off to a solid start for this winter. It is Oct. 3, 2011 and they have received 9 inches of snow! Thats very crazy and random for the east, especially in West Virginia. Let's hope the Mountain's out here in Utah start producing so we can get out and do some boarding.
